Restorative Yoga

A therapeutic style of yoga that focuses on relaxation and renewal for both the body and the mind. Your body will be fully supported by props to allow your body to safely and gently come into full rest, letting go of deeply held tension.

Yoga Nidra and guided meditations are incorporated into each practice. Yoga Nidra is also known as “Yogic Sleep” brings you into a deep brain-wave state creating a relaxation response that balances the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Practice improves the function of your nervous system and endocrine system, which affects your hormones, help cells regenerate and repair.

Yoga Nidra meditation is also good for improving anxiety, sleep, mood function, the immune system which can lead to increased productivity and performance.

We live in such a fast paced world that its hard to slow down.

When we use therapeutic tools like breathing, meditation, relaxation and yoga you discover a world that includes a connection to a deeper part of you that already resides within. We hope that the techniques you learn will help you on and off the mat.

You do not need to be “flexible” to do yoga. You do not need to be “fit”. If you can breathe you can do yoga. Our style of yoga is an internal practice. It benefits the mind and emotions just as much as the outer body, if not more.

Our classes are designed to soothe the nervous system and lessen your stress response that can be damaging to your physiology and well being. You will achieve physical, mental, and emotional relaxation through these techniques while bringing balance into your busy lifestyle.

All of our classes are great for any level from beginner to advanced. We incorporate mindful breath work which alone has a huge impact on our overall health. Regulated breathing can lower heart rate, decrease blood pressure, calm the mind, and bring the nervous system into balance.

Minimum 5 ppl. Maximum 11 ppl. Must have enough space to accommodate. Outdoor sessions weather permitting.
